NY Times tries video obituaries
January 19th, 2007I love Art Buchwald and didn't know that he had passed away until I saw his pre-filmed video obituary. The New York Times has rolled out a service they call "The Last Word" where they allow famous people to say goodbye and tell how they would like to be remembered.

Interesting. Today, I received a direct mailing at home for a new magazine called 'Obit' that has obituaries as a central theme.
It is interesting to see all the attention that family history is getting from all media outlets now.
