More than 6,000 people are expected to attend Genealogy Days 2007 in Halmstad, Sweden from August 24-26th. Besides the annual National Family History Show in the UK which attracts 15,000 visitors, I haven't heard of a bigger genealogy fair in the world than this one. I'll be there on the 24th and part of the 25th.
I just recommended that our World Vital Records team all get copies of the new book from 37signals called Getting Real. Get this: you can read it free online or buy a PDF or paperback version of it. They've sold 20,000 copies so far.
Someone sent me this link today about a blogger/author who shares the same name as the current Prime Minister of Canada. Sharing a famous name seems to have helped his book sales, like my name has helped my blog traffic grow.
