Easymobilizer provides a simple solution to mobile detection. Copy & Paste a line of code into head of index file and if site is accessed by a mobile device, a mobile friendly version is auto displayed. If not a mobile device then normal website is delivered.

I “like Mike” but if you find his well-documented recipe a bit too much to go through, maybe try Alex Kings WordPress Mobile plugin it’s an easy alternative!

I ‘went mobile’ a few months ago, when I got my own magical mobile device. I run movable type and installed a simple plugin to generate tomdalton.com/mobile. It took me all of 5 minutes to set up.

It doesn’t have all the functionality of my main site, but since I mostly post things as reminders to myself, it works great for me to read my old posts on the road.

One way to easily mobilize a website is to filter it through googlepages.com or just create it on googlepages.com which detects a mobile browser and renders in WAP format.
