Easymobilizer provides a simple solution to mobile detection. Copy & Paste a line of code into head of index file and if site is accessed by a mobile device, a mobile friendly version is auto displayed. If not a mobile device then normal website is delivered.

Paul,
Visit Sonoff Consulting Services, Inc.'s (Scsi's) Productivity and Knowledge Transfer (P&KT) Mobile Web Site at http://sonoffconsulting.mobi/ to examine and put through your testing regimen each of its "Perfect 10" set of Mobile Web Best Practices that every aspiring-to-be World Class Level Web Site should seriously consider adopting and implementing.

Additionally, you might visit http://sonoffconsulting.com/ for the comparable set of Web Best Practices that were developed prior to the arrival of the "dot Mobi" domain.

For both domains -- sonoffconsulting.mobi and sonoffconsulting.com -- you should note Scsi's adherence to W3C's XHTML, CSS, and WCAG/WAI recommendations (stated as Scsi's Best Practice #10) for every Web page.

I'd appreciate your feedback and any additional comments you'd care to provide. Thank you for this opportunity to submit this commentary.

Hi Paul:

I "like Mike" but if you find his well-documented recipe a bit too much to go through, maybe try Alex Kings WordPress Mobile plugin it's an easy alternative!

I 'went mobile' a few months ago, when I got my own magical mobile device. I run movable type and installed a simple plugin to generate tomdalton.com/mobile. It took me all of 5 minutes to set up.

It doesn't have all the functionality of my main site, but since I mostly post things as reminders to myself, it works great for me to read my old posts on the road.

One way to easily mobilize a website is to filter it through googlepages.com or just create it on googlepages.com which detects a mobile browser and renders in WAP format.

check out this site:
http://mobile.domain2mobile.com

I find it useful as most sites seem to have totally separate urls for their mobile equivalents.
