Social media, which would have accounted for a very small increment of the “Other online marketing” slice just a few years ago, is now garnishing 11% of the average online marketing budget. Based on other trends indicated in this report, social media‚Äôs share will continue to increase in the year ahead.

    I do believe in this statistics because I’ve also heard social networking will be greatly emphasized with marketing strategies which appear to be bigger this year. Twitter and Facebook will really come a long way!

  2. This has to be a great day for social media guys. Over passing SEO in importance has been a long time in the making. All I can say is good show and It really does make sense I enjoy the Social media experience hundreds of times better than SEO.
