Your Content Everywhere

Sling Media raised another $46 million to make your home entertainment content accessible wherever you travel.

I wonder what this means to Orb Networks, which I first saw at Always On in 2005, which also offers a way to access your home PC content (including TV) on your internet-connected PDA or mobile phone.

  1. What I find amazing is that Orb is free and Sling isn’t. I guess I know which one I would put money into if I were a VC – the one with a source of income… ;-)

    I always thought that Orb’s business plan was to get bought-out by MS, but apparently MS is working on its own version of P2P media sharing for Vista.
